Pierre LaMotte Suite $479-$759
C olonial French Captain Pierre St. Paul, Sieur de la Motte is credited with establishing the first European settlement in the State of Vermont on the shores of Lake Champlain in 1665. Named for this ambitious French captain who later became governor of Montréal, this large and luxurious suite is decorated in an appropriate colonial style. Taking up most of the North wing on the first floor of the newly rebuilt Main House, this suite is the epitome of luxury, featuring a private entrance off the living room and a private porch with a view of historic Manchester Village, two fireplaces-one in the bedroom and one in the living room-an amazing four poster bed (it almost requires a step stool to get into), a claw-foot slipper tub that is also a modern two-person spa, and a spacious walk-in shower.

T he four poster is furnished with elegant high quality linens and is the inviting centerpiece of an opulently furnished grand bedroom. The full living room feautres a second gas fireplace and a lovely porch access. The romantic theme is continued in the bathroom with the two-person spa-tub which looks out towards a warming fireplace. The décor, the linens, and the claw-foot slipper tub— this is luxury you'll never forget!
